Reviews for Crocodile Café
Review highlights
Based on 85 reviewsCrocodile Café, located within the Fort Worth Zoo, is frequently praised for its family-friendly atmosphere and unique dining experience featuring views of live crocodiles, turtles, and fish. Reviews highlight consistently good portion sizes and reasonable pricing, making it a popular choice for casual meals during zoo visits. The fries are commonly noted as a standout item, appreciated for their seasoning and quantity. While the menu options such as fried chicken, chicken tenders, and burgers are generally described as satisfactory but not exceptional, the overall appeal lies in the combination of decent food, efficient service, cleanliness, and the entertaining ambiance created by the zoo setting.
The food is standard fried chicken or hamburgers. We got our order quickly, and there were plenty of seats available. There were 2 things that brought our experience to the next level. 1. The fries are amazing. They are delicious, perfectly salted, and seasoned with something that made them great without ketchup. Also, there were enough in a basket meal to fill anyone up. 2. The atmosphere is 10 out of 10. We sat by the glass wall and watched fish, turtles, and gharials (some type of croc) roam around the enclosure. Overall a great experience and affordable considering it's inside a zoo. 8 of us ate for $98
The food was ok - chicken tenders - but I was much more impressed with the fact that it is apparently named the Crocodile Cafe because you can see the zoo's crocodile from inside. 10/10 just for that. Also the food was incredibly reasonably priced... it just wasn't that much of a punch, you know?
It's food at the zoo, so don't expect anything crazy or an out of this world dining experience (other than the crocs and turtles outside the glass) Good portions for a good price and the kids liked it. Chicken tenders were big and juicy. Burgers were good.
The cheese burger was okay, but the fries were excellent and you get plenty of them. Very clean and staff were immediately cleaning tables when people left. The best part was getting to watch the turtles crocodiles and fish while eating
The food here was delicious. I loved my cheeseburger basket & my kids loved the chicken strip baskets! Super fun for the whole family to eat right next to huge crocodiles & fish! My kids really enjoyed themselves.
